Goshiki

Goshiki means five colours. These colours are white, red, black, blue and dark blue, but since they are mixed together on the body of the koi, they often give a purplish appearance.
Goshiki were originally bred from a cross between an Agasi and a Sanke and are popular because of their flowery patterns. They should be kept in warm water as cool water makes the colours darken, and may cause the koi to go black.
